Installation of Electric Vehicle Chargers at Gibsons Community Centre
BC Hydro and the Town of Gibsons will be installing pay-per-use electric vehicle (EV) chargers in the Gibsons Community Centre parking lot on the north side, adjacent to Brothers Park field in the last half of February and into March. The work is expected to take five weeks to complete.
There may be temporary reductions in the number of parking spaces while this work is done. The flow of traffic around the work area may temporarily slow down to single lane traffic. If you are attending programs at Gibsons Community Centre, please arrive a bit early to allow extra time in case of parking lot delays.
The blue area in the picture is where the work will be done.
