Keats Landing

A major inspection (including underwater) of the Keats Landing dock was completed in fall of 2023. The engineering report received by SCRD staff following the inspection showed that the dock is no longer structurally reliable and had to be closed to vehicle traffic.

Since the inspection, the SCRD has been working with a contractor to plan for repairs to the dock. The design and construction documents for these major repairs are nearing completion and have highlighted that the existing budget for the repairs is insufficient for the work required.
