The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is seeking residents interested in serving on anAdvisory Planning Commission (APCs). APCs advise the Regional District Board on all matters referred to the APC by the Board or by the Area Director respecting land use, the preparation and adoption of a community plan, or a rural land use bylaw or a proposed bylaw or permit. Each Electoral Area has an APC. Some matters are considered regionally.
The Sunshine Coast Regional District is located on the territories of the shíshálh and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nations.

The SCRD Board will review applications and appoint 6-12 members to each APC.
Members will be appointed by the SCRD Board for a 1 or 2-year term.
Applications are being accepted until Friday, January 10,2025.
