What does recreation mean to you? For us it’s about your wellbeing and the activities we can offer to help you remain active and healthy. Here’s your opportunity to tell us what other activities you would like to see being offered on the Sunshine Coast. Take our survey and have your say. Paper copies of the survey are available at Gibsons & Area Community Centre, Gibsons & District Aquatic Facility, Pender Harbour Aquatic & Fitness Centre and Sechelt Aquatic Centre between May 24 and June 23. 

A brief survey will be made available to students in grades 5/6 through School District.46.

The survey will help us understand youth programming and activity preferences, motivators to participation, barriers to program participation and what youth would like to do more often.

Facilitated group discussions will take place to understand strengths and challenges of organizations that deliver programs, their observations of trends and perspectives on how spaces are allocated. 

Participation in these discussions is by invitation.
