About this project
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is developing guidelines for how parks, trails, and beach access points are managed and maintained.
As part of this work, the SCRD is asking community members to share how they use local parks, what they value most about them, and what improvements they would like to see.
Community feedback will help guide future decisions about park maintenance, services, and amenities across the region.
How to get involved
There are two ways to provide your feedback on SCRD parks.
In person - Check out the dates that SCRD staff will be in our community through June and early July. These dates can be found on the right of this page if you are on desktop or by scrolling down if you are on mobile.

This phase will see an interim parks service review report brought to the SCRD Board for consideration.
June to July 2026 - Community Conversations
Lets Talk Parks is currently at this stage
Through the summer, SCRD staff will be speaking with residents across the region about SCRD parks. This engagement will help inform the final parks service review report.
Fall 2026 - Final report
this is an upcoming stage for Lets Talk Parks
A final parks service review report will be brought to the SCRD Board.
