    Thank you for your question. Some answers are below. 

    1. The system is ground disposal via two septic disposal fields which are alternated.  It is unlikely effluent that is distributed into the disposal fields could make its way to Bargain Harbour.

    2.  We suggest reporting any odors to the SCRD so we are aware and can address them.  

    3. There is a feasibility study linked on this page (https://www.scrd.ca/files/File/Administration/Agendas/2021/2021-OCT-14%20ISC%20Agenda%20Package.pdf#page=24) The study suggests there are actions we can take to extend the life of the system, the SCRD is working to implement these recommendations.
